Since its launch in 2003, the Corporate Registers Forum (CRF) has held annual conferences consistently. The 2024 edition was hosted in Qatar, following the 2023 conference in Malta.
CRF Qatar 2024
The 2024 Corporate Registers Forum (CRF) Conference, hosted by the Qatar Financial Centre, took place in Doha, Qatar, from November 3rd to 7th, 2024. Under the theme “Innovative Registries – Business Enablers of the Future,” the event successfully explored the pivotal role of registries in facilitating business growth amidst evolving economic and technological landscapes. Discussions and presentations covered the transformative use of Distributed Ledger Technology and Artificial Intelligence in business registries, the impact of digitisation, leveraging registry data, and fostering cross-border cooperation. CRF Malta 2023
The 2023 Corporate Registers Forum (CRF) Conference, hosted by the Malta Business Registry, was held in Malta from October 16th to 20th, 2023. Focused on global collaboration under the theme “Together: Building Bridges, Sharing Experiences,” the event featured over 40 speakers and gathered international experts, including representatives from MoneyVal, the OECD, the World Bank, and the EU Commission. Discussions addressed key challenges in corporate registries, covering anti-money laundering (AML), beneficial ownership transparency, digitisation, international compliance, and financial crime prevention. The conference particularly highlighted the increasing role of technology and robust regulatory frameworks in enhancing due diligence and corporate integrity. Beyond the panels, the event facilitated valuable networking opportunities, enabling registry professionals and practitioners to exchange best practices and strengthen business partnerships.
