Rezy Izwan Ramly is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Corporate Services) at the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), appointed in March 2024. In this role, he oversees key portfolios including human capital, finance, administration, procurement, infrastructure, training, knowledge management, and branch operations. His leadership focuses on enhancing organizational efficiency, building institutional capabilities, and advancing SSM’s vision of being a world-class corporate registry.
Rezy began his career as a Senior Prosecutor at the Securities Commission Malaysia, where he spent over a decade prosecuting complex white-collar crime cases. He joined SSM in 2010 as Head of the Prosecution Section, before serving as Director of the Corporate Compliance Division (2014), Director of the Investigation Division (2017), and later as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Registration & Business Services) from 2020 to 2024. Across these roles, he has been instrumental in strengthening corporate compliance, driving reforms, and modernizing regulatory and business services in Malaysia.
He holds an LLB (Hons.) from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, a Certificate in Legal Practice (Malaysia), and is a Certified Financial Investigator (CFI).
