Kateryna Bovsunovska is a Legal Consultant at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), where she works at the intersection of law and technology. In this capacity, she manages the Best Practices in Electronic Registry Design and Operation Project under the auspices of the Cape Town Convention Academic Project. Her expertise in legal frameworks for digital technologies also includes her prior involvement in the development of the Principles on Digital Assets and Private Law, published in 2023. Before joining UNIDROIT, Kateryna gained experience with the United Nations World Food Programme, where she contributed to a capacity-strengthening initiative within the transport sector in West Africa. Kateryna holds an LLM in International and European Law from Vilnius University. Her professional interests center on the legal and technological components of digital trust.
