Justin Hygate is Vice President of Registry Solutions at Foster Moore, a global leader in registry solutions. He brings nearly 40 years of experience in business registries, regulatory frameworks, and digital transformation in the public sector.
Based in Aotearoa New Zealand, Justin has held senior leadership roles both nationally and internationally. He made significant contributions to the development of innovative electronic registries across multiple jurisdictions, helping governments modernise companies, securities, and occupational registries through technology and best-practice governance.
Before joining Foster Moore in 2011, Justin held leadership and management positions at the New Zealand Companies Office.
Justin has been closely involved with international networks including the International Association of Commercial Administrators (IACA) and the European Business Registry Association (EBRA). He was also instrumental in founding the Corporate Registers Forum (CRF) in 2003. Today, he continues to advance dialogue on registry interoperability, data standards, and the application of artificial intelligence to compliance operations.
A strong advocate for collaboration, Justin supports initiatives that help developing economies establish transparent and efficient registries.
