Hayley Thompson is the Standards and Administrative Director at ECCMA (ISO.IBID:US-DE.BER:3031657|Code Management Association|19990420). ECCMA is a not-for-profit membership association that develops international consensus standards to improve supply chain data quality and interoperability.

Hayley is active in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) committees for Automation Systems; Industrial Data; and Interoperability, Integration, and Architectures for Enterprise Systems and Automation Applications. She is the Convenor for the ISO working groups for Supply Chain Interoperability and Integration; Manufacturing Software and Its Environment; and Data Quality Terminology, as well as expert to the working group for Data Quality among others. She is also the Chair of American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO for Industrial Data, and a member of ANSI's International Policy Advisory Group and American Policy Advisory Group.

She is a government and politics specialist at national and international levels, with experience as the instructor on record at American and European universities, including Rutgers University, New York University – School of Professional Studies, among others. She is an author of peer-reviewed publications. Her university studies took place in the United States, South America, and Europe and her degree programs include Political Science and International Studies as well as Computer and Information Sciences.
